This is excellent for camping, you get to be outside a great deal and really look forward to sunny days and balmy nights. Our campsites provide superb locations and are optimum starting points for adventures in the breath-taking natural surroundings.

Camping in the adventure-packed Oberdrautal

Obere Drautal is located to the south of the Mölltal and its geographical location provides a whole gamut of fantastic excursion destinations and opportunities. Numerous camp sites are optimum starting points. It is not far from the Drau Cycle Path, and features lots of kilometres of hiking routes and various via ferratas in the fantastic natural surroundings. The region has also made a name for itself as a paragliding paradise.

Camping Mittleres/Unteres Mölltal

Mittleres/Unteres Mölltal is in no way inferior to Oberes Mölltal, you enjoy direct access to Mallnitz, to the Mölltaler Glacier and to the Ankogel group. Summer and winter alike everything revolves around skiing, mountaineering, hiking and lots of adventures in the natural surroundings. In the villages Flattach, Obervellach, Kolbnitz and Lurnfeld there are four wonderful campsites – and a new, modern camping area in Mallnitz since December 2019.

Camping region Oberes Mölltal

When you camping in the Oberes Mölltal region, you always have the highest peaks in the state in your line of sight. With the 3798m Großglockner leading the way. In the towns of Heiligenblut, Großkirchheim, Mörtschach and Winklern you get to check into comfortable camping sites and are right where you want to be. At the starting point to adventure, relaxation and experiences.
