Getting here by train

Getting here by train

“Green and sustainable” in the Alpine gem of Mallnitz

Anyone who really likes to take things easy, and enjoy being calm and relaxed and wants to get to the Hohe Tauern National Park in a manner that is environmentally-friendly, can opt to take the train.

Getting to Mallnitz in Carinthia – a well-known town in the National Park – by train just couldn’t be any easier or more convenient. Mallnitz train station is an ICE station and seven times a day there are international trains (ICE) from the north and from the south.

In the Alpine Pearls town of Mallnitz a gentle-mobile holiday is the emphasis, whereby a sustainable journey here is of course a key element. There are a range of beneficial offers available to you on site, from various service providers, including shuttle services, public transport and bike or car hire. Your journey here couldn’t be any more pleasant or easy-going than it is by train.
