So a visit is a perfect introduction into everything that await sin the wild.
Ranger labs
For the first time bookable workshops will be available for all guests in the new ‘rangerlabs’, with the maxim being ‘learn from nature’. The ‘rangerlabs’ are research workshops where you carry out research, experiment and try things out together with our National Park rangers. In the first instance it is about actively working on contents and bringing in your own ideas. The highlight at the ‘rangerlabs’: what you learn in the laboratory is then linked up with an outdoor excursion in the National Park. The three different programmes offered are based on the themes: ‘herbs’, ‘concrete climate’ and ‘inspirational nature’ and are a unique experience for any age-group. A programme lasts 3 – 4 hours and is available for groups that have registered in advance, as well as other interested parties, at set times – during the summer months.
rangerlab herbs
Discover the world of the edible national park: collected plants during the herb hike are examined in the herb kitchen and processed into delicacies.
rangerlab concrete climate
What is climate and how did it come about? How can a blanket of snow provide warmth and what does my snack have to do with the greenhouse effect? Little research tasks whisk us off into a realm filled with exciting puzzles about the weather and the climate.
rangerlab inspirational nature
Why does an eagle not need to flap its wings and what can we learn from bugs or larch trees? Together we research the fantastic tricks of nature and develop ideas for new technical achievements
