    The joy of summer

      Jungfernsprung Water-Wonders-Walk

A maiden fleeing from the devil – and at her feet a vertical rock face. In her despair, she jumps and – supported by angels – she survives the fall unharmed. This is the place today where the waters of the Zopenitzenbach torrent roar down into the valley – in three cascades more than 130 metres high: the Jungfernsprung!

      Info on the walking tour:

car park on the Mölltal Bundesstraße (Federal Road), between
      Döllach and Heiligenblut
